During the long, warm season in Cyprus, we take advantage of the sunshine to spend time on the water and relaxing by the pool, to go walking in villages and exploring mountains. We design our tours to avoid the crowds and give you time to get lost in the moment.
With a maximum of only 10 guests, we’re a happy little company of explorers who relish each day socializing over delectable wine and food. At night, we come home to boutique accommodation that shows off the very best of Cyprus.
The experiences you have on tour with us create memories of a lifetime because you are not just sightseeing — you are understanding, learning, and making: making food, new friends, and memories. On our West Cyprus holidays, you come to know Cyprus through all of your senses.
Our thrilling West Cyprus holiday begins with a Paphos trip.
We meet this evening for a welcome drink and admire the panoramic view of Paphos from our rooftop bar before heading to the harbor for a wonderful local meze dinner with wine. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep in preparation for the upcoming week of adventure…
Overnight: Paphos
After breakfast at our hotel, our tour guide leads us on enlightening tours in Paphos through the old town and harbor.
Then we head to the gorgeous village of Kathikas in the foothills above Paphos, where we stroll the streets of this charming village before tasting third-generation home-cooked food and local wine at an old taverna.
Back in Paphos, we meet our archaeologist guide for a private tour of the Nea Pafos Archaeological Site, a UNESCO World Heritage where the Roman mosaics will amaze you.
We end our day with a dinner close to Paphos Harbor as the sun sets on our first full day of adventuring in Cyprus!
Overnight: Paphos
After breakfast, we travel to Ancient Kourion where our archaeology guide takes us on a private tour of these astonishing ruins.
We then head down the mountain to Kourion Beach for a beachside lunch with wine (and perhaps a swim).
We travel back to Paphos where we take a private tour of our third UNESCO World Heritage site, the Tombs of the Kings. These underground tombs were modeled on the earlier rulers of the island, the Egyptian Pharaohs. We spend our last evening in Paphos to dine at a traditional restaurant.
Overnight: Paphos
We continue our Cyprus excursion from Paphos and drive northeast to the fishing village of Latchi. Here we board our private boat and set sail south along the stunning west coast of Cyprus.
We stop at the Blue Lagoon where we can dive off the boat into the inviting turquoise waters. Upon returning to Latchi, we enjoy a delicious lunch with wine on the beach.
We then head out in safari jeeps for an electrifying off-road excursion through the wild and beautiful parts of the Akamas Peninsula.
We’ll trek through Avakas Gorge, walk along lovely Lara Beach, and see the Turtle Sanctuary as part of our Akamas trip.
After a local dinner with wine, we retire to our beachside hotel and perhaps have a late-night swim!
Overnight: Polis
After breakfast at our hotel, we stroll around the small village of Polis, visit the tiny museum, and enjoy a coffee in the streets of the old Turkish Quarter.
Then it’s time to leave the western coast of Cyprus for our Troodos Mountains excursion, stopping along the way to see mouflon, a type of wild sheep, and then have a light lunch at a tiny mountain cafe.
We arrive at the village of Kalopanyiotis, high in the Troodos Mountains, and check into our Small Luxury Hotels of the World mountain lodge!
Dinner tonight is in an award-winning restaurant with a panoramic view of the Marathasa Valley — it’s simply unforgettable.
Overnight: Kalopanayiotis
After breakfast on the terrace, we’ll join a Kalopanayiotis local, Maria, on a walk through the village before a casual lunch at our hotel.
This afternoon we learn about how food is grown, made, and stored in mountain villages in Cyprus. We try our hand at making traditional delicacies in a village workshop before taking a tour through a local orchard.
For dinner this evening we travel to a beautiful wine village, Obidos, in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains to wine and dine at the renowned Mill Restaurant.
Overnight: Kalopanayiotis
After breakfast, we’re later reunited with our archaeologist guide as we go hunting for the UNESCO World Heritage 10th Century painted Byzantine churches and monasteries hidden throughout the Troodos Mountains.
We’ll stop on the way at a sensational winery for another Cyprus feast and local wines.
Returning to our village we visit the spectacular modern winery high on the mountain for a sunset wine tasting.
For our last evening together we gather in an elegant restaurant with spectacular views for a farewell dinner.
Overnight: Kalopanayiotis
After our last breakfast together our lovely driver returns us to Paphos airport.
If you’d like to stay in Cyprus, we’ll be happy to help you make reservations to extend your stay until next time — when we hope you’ll come on tour with us again, this time to explore eastern Cyprus!
